One of our most popular courses, this is an eclectic 4 day workshop combining facial massage with facial acupuncture. However, students have the option to do the entire 4 day programme or just the 1 day massage workshop, or 3 day acupuncture workshop.
Who should attend: No prior training in acupuncture is needed to attend. This course is open to beauty therapists (and therapists of all kinds), western medical doctors, nurses, healthcare workers and people with an interest in learning acupuncture.
What do I get upon completion of the course? Students who pass the course can gain insurance to practice Facial/Cosmetic Acupuncture, as well as facial massage.
Benefits: Facial acupuncture is known to be highly effective for cosmetic work, toning and general beauty therapy. It is also useful for emotional release and stress management and facial trauma.
How to book: We keep our class sizes small so that students get as much one-on-one practical experience as possible. 1) £400 – 4 day combined Facial/Cosmetic Acupuncture & Facial Massage
2) £300 – 3 day Facial/Cosmetic Acupuncture
3) £125 – 1 day Facial Massage
Students will learn a perfect blend of ancient practices and modern theory in the application of both acupuncture and massage applicable to the face. The techniques taught in this workshop are simple, safe, effective and efficient and can be easily applied to your client base.
Students will learn needling techniques from day one. Particular emphasis is placed on health and safety to effectively carry out facial/cosmetic acupuncture.

How to pass: To pass this acupuncture course and qualify to practice and gain insurance, students must undertake further supervised clinical practice hours, produce 3 case studies and undergo an examination.
The College runs practice groups one Saturday a month which forms part of the clinical supervised practice hours. Students are encouraged to attend the practice groups to further develop their techniques and skills. Practice groups also provide a wonderful forum to network with other therapists.
